Wir beschäftigen uns nicht nur mit Möbel, sondern auch mit Dekostücken und Lampen. Aus einer Wohnungsauflösung bekamen wir eine Stehlampe, mit einem dezenten beigen Lampenschirm. Von der Farbgestaltung passte das nun ganz und gar nicht, also versuchten wir eine Veränderung vorzunehmen. Der Schirm besteht aus Stoff, der von Außen beschichtet wurde. Wie man weiss, kann man Stoffe einfärben. Eine unserer Lieblingsfarben neben blau, ist auch rot, wie man auch an unseren Möbel erkennen kann. So wurde kurzerhand beschlossen die Lampe mit roter Acrylfarbe einzufärben. Das auftragen der Farbe machten wir mit einem Flachpinsel. Die Farbe zog wider erwarten gleichmäßig ein.
Als die Lampe fertig war, wollten wir auch das „Leuchtende“ Ergebnis sehen. Den Stecker in die Steckdose und eingeschaltet, außer einem „paff“ geschah nichts. Wir mußten die Lampe komplett auseinander schrauben, die Verkabelung war so alt, das sich die Isolierung aufgelöst hatte. So zogen wir wieder neue Kabel und Verbinder ein und hatten dann unser leuchtendes Ergebnis.
