Mit unseren schwarzen Möbeln geht es jetzt stetig weiter. Zu dem schwarzen Schrank gibt es jetzt die ersten Stühle. Die ehemaligen Küchenstühle arbeiteten wir auf. Die alte farblose Lackierung entfernten wir durch Schleifen. Unter der Farbe kamen tadelose Buchenstühle in guter Verarbeitung zum Vorschein. Kleinere Wasserflecken ließen sich ohne großen Aufwand entfernen.
Die Stühle wischten wir feucht ab und schliffen sie nochmals mit feinerem Schleifpapier über.
Da die Möbelstücke, genau wie der schwarze Schrank, mit Schellack lackiert werden sollte, brauchten wir sie nicht vorzustreichen. Ein Behandeln der fertigen Oberfläche mit Citrus-Terpentin und Möbelploitur (Schellack) gibt dem Ganzen einen seidigen Glanz.
