Angesichts der aktuellen Ausnahme-Situation haben viele Menschen viel Zeit zu basteln und Dinge selber herzustellen. Wir haben hier noch ein paar schöne Anregungen für Euch wie Ihr individuelle Kerzenhalter selber machen könnt.
Die Idee ist ganz einfach: Du verwendest eine alte Halterung oder einen einfachen Kerzenhalter, den Du nicht mehr leiden magst und veränderst diesen, indem Du ihn mit Holz und einer Dekoration kombinierst. Zum Beispiel so: Wir haben vor langer Zeit schlichte Kerzenständer aus Metall, farbig lackiert, gekauft. Doch wir mögen diese so nicht mehr leiden. Jetzt war die Gelegenheit, diese Teile in individuelle Wohnaccessoires zu verwandeln. Glücklicherweise gibt es bei uns viel Holz, entweder Treibholz von den Strandspaziergängen, Holzreste aus dem großen Garten oder Brennholzstückchen. Falls Du keine Holzreste hast, kann ich Dir noch empfehlen zu gucken, ob du alte Möbel oder Wohnaccessoires hast, die Dir nicht mehr gefallen oder die Du nicht mehr benötigst. Dann kannst Du diese auseinander nehmen. Falls Du nichts Pasendes findest, andere Leute fragen. Irgendwer hat immer irgendwas…Wichtig ist uns, möglichst nichts Neues zu kaufen und zu versuchen, nachhaltig zu denken. Das fördert die Kreativität.
Wie Du richtig erkennst, kaufen auch wir gelegentlich irgendwelche Wohnaccessoires oder Teile, die uns gefallen. Nicht alles ist selber gemacht bei uns zu Hause. Doch wir werfen Dinge nicht weg, wenn sie uns nicht gefallen, sondern verändern sie. Das ist der Trick! Das ist meiner Meinung nach die einfachste Lösung für nachhaltigen Konsum. Und je mehr man auf die Veränderbarkeit der Produkte achtet, desto mehr Ideen fallen einem ein. Und es macht sogar Spaß, immer wieder Neues zu produzieren und die Wohnung mit Kleinigkeiten neu zu gestalten. Probiere es aus, es wird Dir gefallen!
Wenn Du Holzstückchen mit Bändern und Borten dekorierst, erhalten sie immer wieder ein anderes Aussehen. Du kannst die Bänder immer wieder wechseln und andere Kleinigkeiten anhängen. Oft bekommt man Geschenke mit hübschen Bändchen verpackt, diese eignen sich hervorragend. Auch Kerzen in verschiedenen Farben und Formen verändern den Look des Wohnzubehörs. Daneben spielt es eine Rolle, welche Kleinigkeiten du drumherum dekorierst, in unserem Fall oft Muscheln und Steine.
