Ich habe mal wieder ein paar schöne französische Wohnzeitschriften gesehen. Besonders beeindruckend finde ich die Fotos mit alten Möbeln (keine hochwertigen Antiquitäten), sondern einfach alte Stühle und Kommoden, die immer so „wohnlich“, gemütlich, aussehen. Heute heißt es Vintage-Stil und ist ganz modern. Man kann diesen Möbelstücken die Geschichten ansehen, die sie erlebt haben. Sie sind so lebendig, wunderbar…
Diese Kommode mit dem weißen Korpus und den grünen Türen gefällt mir besonders gut. Leider ist der Kommodendeckel mit häßlicher, inzwischen unansehnlicher Folie beklebt. Und sie ist insgesamt etwas instabil. Mal sehen, ob wir sie so lassen oder aufarbeiten.
Der alte Küchenstuhl ist nicht nur Vintage-Stil sondern echt alt. Die meisten Möbel, die in Shabby chic-Richtung oder Vintage-Stil angeboten werden, sind ja neu gestaltet und nicht wirklich gealtert. Irgendwie kann man schon einen Unterschied erkennen, findet ihr nicht?
Und dieser Stuhl ist auch echt alt und eigentlich ganz schön. Jetzt frage ich mich, ob wir einige Stühle einfach gar nicht umgestalten sollten. Dagegen spricht aber, dass die Leute die Sachen in dem jetzigen Zustand nicht haben wollen. Es gibt zu viele alte Möbel und kaum jemand möchte alte gebrauchte Möbel kaufen, es sei denn, es sind echte Antiquitäten. Aber bei uns handelt es sich um normale Möbel mit Gebrauchsspuren und diese landen sehr häufig im Sperrmüll, was wir vermeiden wollen. Wir sind ja für das Recycling, Nicht-Wegschmeißen, Weiterverwerten usw. und wollen andere mit unserer Begeisterung anstecken. Alte Möbel sind oft aus guten Hölzern! Aber wenn sie niemandem gefallen, muss man sich was einfallen lassen. Na ja, bei diesen Teilen werden wir noch mal überlegen, ob sie so bleiben oder was wir damit anstellen.
