In einem der vorherigen Artikel haben wir berichtet, dass wir jetzt auch lasierte Möbel anbieten. Die ersten Stücke sind jetzt fertig. Als erstes gestalteten wir einen Tisch neu. Die vorhandene Lackierung entfernten wir wie immer durch Schleifen. Da Lasuren, wie bekannt, durchscheinend sind, war es erforderlich die Maserung des Holzes gut herauszuarbeiten. Dieses erreicht man durch sorgfältiges Schmirgeln und gegebenenfalls durch Bürsten. Die erste Lasur dient als Voranstrich und wir mussten nochmals fein nachschleifen (180er Körnung). Nach der zweiten Lasur kann man sich entscheiden ob die Abdeckung der Farbe ausreicht. Je mehr Schichten übereinander kommen, desto farbintensiver wird die Lasur. Wir haben uns für drei Schichten entschieden.
Den Tisch, wie auch die dazugehörigen Stühle alterten wir künstlich durch Anschleifen der Kanten und Flächen. Jetzt eignet sich der Tisch für Einrichtungen im Shabby Chic oder im Landhaussstil und natürlich für den norddischen Wohnstil.
Lasuren sind wie oben erwähnt besonders gut geeignet, wenn man die Maserungen des Holzes betonen möchte.
